Privacy

EverGamer is a set of free games that play in your browser. To see how the pages and games are used, we measure visits with the tools below. This page says what each one does and how you choose.

Stats.he.art

Our own visit counter. It sets no cookies and keeps nothing in your browser: it counts the page you opened and how long it was in front of you, with no identifier that outlives the page.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics tells us which pages and games are played and how people find them. It keeps cookies in your browser (their names begin with _ga). Google describes what it does with the data in its privacy policy.

Microsoft Clarity

Microsoft Clarity shows us heatmaps and session recordings of how pages are used: where people click, how far they scroll, and where they get stuck. Everything typed is masked before it leaves your browser, and it never runs on sign-in or account pages. Microsoft describes what it does with the data in its privacy statement.

The game hub's own counts

The game hub counts the steps people take, such as opening the submit page, posting a project or confirming a revival request, per day and per the link they came from (a short code such as ?ref=discord-a in the address). It sets no cookies and keeps nothing about you: only the totals. Where you have allowed analytics (below), it also remembers that code and the day of your last visit in this browser, for 30 days, so a later visit is counted with the link that brought you.

Revival requests and your email

When you ask for a revival of a classic, we keep your email address to confirm the request (one link, sent once; a request counts only when it is confirmed, or when you sign in with Google with the same address) and, only if you tick the box, to tell you when a maker starts a revival of that game. Your address is never shown on the site or given to makers. Every email has a link that stops further emails about that request. Requests that are never confirmed are deleted after 30 days.

Visitors in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked first: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity load only after you press Accept. Elsewhere they load at once. Anyone can change their choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of this page or the home page, and Decline turns both off. Your answer is kept in this browser for 12 months.
